Simply Beautiful

Jay laughs since this was just some random project he did like sophomore year for a music class, and I just love listening to it. It's so serenading and beautiful and I love the story behind the video he chose. The clips are from this documentary, "A State of Mind," about the Mass Games in North Korea, which are like human pictures and performances to honor of their president each year.

The all knowing Wikipedia says: "Mass Games can basically be described as a synchronized socialist-realist spectacular, featuring over 100,000 participants in a 90 minute display of gymnastics, dance, acrobatics, and dramatic performance, accompanied by music and other effects, all wrapped in a highly politicized package." 


Super interesting. But as always I'm drawn to the music and I think he did a pretty damn good job. If he's not going to toot his own horn, I gladly will. :)
